Overcoming Daily Obstacles!

Most of us in this world are working adults, we work the dreadful Monday through Friday schedule 8AM to 5PM. Depending on your career path you may have more flexibility or be a homemaker. In any case we all work, taking the steps to reach our goals in life and to fulfill our life’s purpose.

During the work week it is so easy to experience many obstacles. These obstacles may be work related, personal or emotional. Either way by the end of the week you can be drained from it all or you can overcome those obstacles like a champ! Here is what I do to effectively get through the work week, enjoy the weekend and get back to business the next week.

Firstly I’ve been working a new job for almost 4 months now. I used to work from home but now I go into the office. My daily obstacles include, office banter, traffic, waking up before the butt crack of dawn and dealing with people, their feelings, thoughts and attitudes all week long! And then I say “God are you sure this is what I asked for?”

The way I come out on top every week is I continue to fill my spirit with God’s word. Listening to a sermon, reading scripture or notes that I’d previously made, it’s all God’s word. Then when I get off of work I always do at least one enjoyable activity, whether it is watching my favorite show, listening to music or best of all getting on my skates! As long as I do something enjoyable that evening it helps my week go smoother.

The second thing I do is to always be mindful of foolishness and negative people. If you can, avoid both of these. Foolishness and negative people only bring you down, use your energy ineffectively and cause you to get distracted. You don’t need that, I know I don’t!

Lastly, don’t panic! Don’t panic when things don’t go as planned or you left the shoes you wanted to wear to work at home and didn’t realize it until you were halfway to work, had no spare time to stop for a new pair and if you did everything is closed because it’s 6AM when you arrive at your place of work like I did this morning! Haha!

Lift up your head, trust God because He has a solution for every problem and walk into work confidently, get through your work week gracefully, use your energy effectively and wear those Neon Pink Nike Slides like you coordinated it with your outfit on purpose! 😁

When we make sure we fill our spirits with God’s word, do enjoyable activities, don’t panic and trust God we will continue to overcome daily obstacles, small aggravations and unexpected changes. At the end of week we will be winners, conquerors and exactly the people God created us to be!

When You Do Better, You Become Better And Experience Better!

Happy Wacky Wednesday! ❤

God’s Unique Plan: Releasing The Concerns Of Others!

Some people can take an interest in the lives of others. Forming and sharing their thoughts, feelings and opinions about someone else’s life and decisions. There are many forms of entertainment out there but  nothing like people watching. 👀 It is important for us not to allow what people think or say to affect or hinder our unique journey.

Everybody is different. There are no 2 people on Earth that is the same. I don’t consider myself to be normal. I’ve always done things differently than others. I have never went with a fad or what was most popular. When I chose to do things differently I did it intentionally. I will just share my experience with dealing with opinions and thoughts of others about my journey of “Waiting For My Husband.”

I am single, waiting on my husband and celibate. I have been for a nice while now. I’ve taken this time to get closer to God and to get to know myself better. Knowing God is truly knowing yourself. I’ve been asked “how can I ask God for a husband when I don’t date?” Well, because I trust God to bring the man He has created just for me to be my husband into my life so the search is not up to me to do. And honestly I am over dating. I’ve dated before, been in long term relationships before, I’ve even had sexual rendezvous before and none of those things ever brought me closer to finding my husband. I’ve realized it’s because I am not to be out there looking and searching. God knows all and He knows my future husband. I trust that when the time is right we will come together just as God has planned.

With that being said, I’ve met, talked to and entertained some men in my single state. It’s a lot of men that are just like a lot of women. They are playing the field and do not have the slightest idea of what they want or even what they are looking for in a potential mate. Some people just want companionship, some people just want sex and some people like me desire a forever partnership with my future spouse. I don’t like it when people automatically assume just because I’ve been single for a while,  I am celibate and choose not to get involved with the wrong person like I’ve done pretty much most of my adult life that I am desperate or in a rush to find or get love. That’s just simply not true.

First of all God loves me unconditionally, that’s all I need! Actually I was talking to someone that held my interest for a good little while and I came to the conclusion I need a little longer to be single! So not every woman is just flat out desperate because she knows what she wants and refuses to settle for less than God’s best. I have no problem waiting for my husband. I don’t feel like my biological clock is ticking. I am all the way good!

I also don’t like it when women are accused of being overly emotional just because they know how to effectively express their feelings. That’s crazy! I always make sure I am up front and honest with whomever I choose to entertain that shows a romantic interest in me. Most of the time my honesty runs most men away which I think is awesome! Because if you can’t take my honesty, God did not send you! Okay!

So just be mindful while playing the field. Be mindful of your words. Do not say things that you do not mean. Be honest and upfront and please know yourself so you can know what you want. And if you are in the process of getting to know yourself. Then take the time to do just that be single and don’t waste other people’s time.

If you are only interested in sex say that. If you only want a non committed relationship say that. If you just don’t know what you want and you are winging it through life say that too! This way there is no confusion, no back and forth, no playing with people’s feelings and no bad karma for you. Because trust me Karma doesn’t care if you were a heathen yesterday and started living for God today it’s still coming for you. So just be truthful with people and you will have less trouble in this area of life.

You can be single and wait on your future spouse anyway you choose. But please don’t judge others because their way is not the most popular or even unheard of. Live your life the way you see fit. I personally live the Faith Life, living for God and living out the journey He created just for me!

In Layman’s terms Do you and I’m gonna do me! 😁

Live Intentionally! Be Bold! Your life does not need to be validated by others and you don’t have to prove yourself worthy of anybody’s love! God loves you! And God loves Me! So it really doesn’t matter who doesn’t! The people that are meant to be in your life will be! All others will be Exposed then Removed!

God does not play behind His children! He will protect your heart, so don’t worry about it getting broken! He will keep you and give you all you need to fulfill the journey He has made just for you! Don’t let other people’s opinions and thoughts hinder you from what God is trying to get to you!

Happy Thursday! ❤

Go With The Flow, Depending On God For Everything!!!

It’s human nature to want to do things ourselves, make our own choices, never ask for help but to first try and make things happen all on our own. Even as a child begins to explore on their own they often tell their parents “I got it” or “I’m going to do it myself.” It’s natural to feel if you don’t do it yourself it won’t be done in the right way, or the way in which you want it to be done. But God is here for us, alongside us, teaching us, leading and guiding us to an adventure that He has planned specifically for our lives.

I must say it is never easy asking for help or thinking that I cannot do things on my own. It took an event in my life for me to realize that life isn’t easy and I needed help in order to live my best life. As I came to this point I turned to God admitting that I was lost and needed help. I was also willing to stop doing things my own way and open to learning how to live my life the way God has planned it. He immediately begin to reveal His plan for my life, slowly but surely. This plan required me to always depend on God, to trust Him to lead me to making the right choices, allowing the Divine relationships into my life and to steer clear of relationships/friendships that were not meant for me. It required work on my part but this time when I accepted God’s way and abandoned my own I would never be alone.

Little did I know once I made the decision to accept God’s plan a continuous need for God would grow. I went from calling on God in only hard times to needing Him everyday, in every decision and in every area of my life. The more I depended on God the more He taught me. I learned to trust Him always, come to Him first not as a last resort and keep Him at the head of my life. God has increased me in amazing ways that cannot be explained. He has held a firm grip on me not letting me fall when life gets hard and making lemonade out of very sour lemons. I have learned how to be happy 99 percent of the time and when weapons form that 1 percent of the time to have faith they won’t prosper. I don’t sweat the small stuff and I am open to instant changes because life is always changing. I continue to accept God’s plan for my life over and over again! I say that because we ask God for things all the time but when He gives them to us in a way that we didn’t think could have happened sometimes we can overlook the blessing just because it didn’t happen the way we may have thought it would.

When we accept God’s plan and depend on him, solely on Him for all things we allow Him to bless us in the best way possible or impossible. The way God does things in and throughout our lives we don’t have the capacity to think that up! We can’t even imagine it! God is so big and so loving! He has our best interest, He protects us, He looks out for us, He is loyal to us and most of all He loves us more than any human can!

If you are having a hard time figuring this thing called Life out just hook up with God. He is the best friend and family you could ever have! He knows all and He is all the help you need! His word says “Everything We Need Is In Him.” With God you can’t lose, you may get down but He won’t let you fall and your life will never be boring! But filled up with the great adventure God has created just for you!

Try Him Y’all! He Will Teach You How To Go With The Flow Of Life! Increasing You Every Step Of The Way!

Happy Sunday! ❤️

Seeing Myself The Way God Sees Me!

On my spiritual journey just like others I have experienced challenging times. This Faith Life  is not always easy but it’s always worth it. I’m going to share a personal journal entry from my time with God, I hope to encourage my readers as I open My Heart, thoughts and prayers.

Often times we can get so caught up in life that we begin to see ourselves through our own eyes. Many choices we have made that has increased our lives we needed God’s help. God is always there to lead and guide us and do things within and through us. When life becomes overwhelming we can lose sight of the Big Picture and begin to doubt ourselves, our gifts and talents because we are looking at what we can do through our own strength. Through the difficult time I recently experienced I had to remind myself of the way that God sees me, His purpose for my life and all that He has called me to do. God reminded me that it is not through my own strength that I have gotten this far on my journey but everything is through Him. He is my Source, the Truth, the Life and the only way I will fulfill my purpose is to Trust Him.

Journal Entry: February 14th 2018

As I search my heart today and everyday, I constantly make a choice to trust in God. Everything is not perfect but it is moving forward. I am choosing to look forward and enjoy each day as best as I can and to let past things pass away. I am also choosing to have an open heart, and no matter what I am choosing to Forgive, Let Go and Walk in Love.

Prayer: I thank you Lord for giving me the strength to move forward on this spiritual, emotional and mental Journey you have set me upon. In every trial there is a lesson, with every difficulty I am faced with choices and I always choose the choice that line up with your word. At times I get annoyed, emotionally disturbed and frustrated with situations and people. But I always come back to my foundation in you! I remember the Bigger Picture and the bright future you have planned for me! I know you know best and provide me with everything I need and want. I thank you for helping me, understanding me and giving me peace so that you can continue your work in me until the day it is finished. This journey so far has been beautiful, exciting and sometimes difficult. But I know it is definitely worth it and I’m glad you chose me!  As long as you keep choosing me and pursuing me (which I know He always will) I will always keep choosing you! Thank you for filling in the gaps because of you I am whole! Amen!

Scripture:” Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4: 6-7

I hope you will be encouraged today! Remember it is not by your own strength that you will live out your purpose is it by God’s power within you!

Happy Monday! ❤

I’d Rather Be….

Have you ever taken the time to let your mind wander, or set aside some time to just think? I often find myself allowing my mind to drift when I’m alone and it’s quiet I think of my future.

Sometimes I wonder if given a time machine what things I would go back and change? I think about things I would rather be doing, and if I did change some things would I be in the same place in life that I am now? Would I have done more, seen more and achieved more? When I ask myself these questions I know I’m not alone in wondering where I’d rather be.

On my life’s journey so far I have learned and observed we spend a lot of time wondering what could have been? Allowing our past experiences to take a seat in our present lives. In order to move forward and have the future God has planned for us, we must first move out of the past. Moving out of the past doesn’t mean you have to forget it. I definitely have had past experiences that have helped to shape me into the woman I am today. (And not to toot my own horn but I turned out pretty great). Remembering some of my past reaffirms how far I have come while not repeating my past mistakes. We shouldn’t let our past make present and future decisions in our lives.

Some ways to not allow your past to interfere with your present and future are as follows:

*Always Forgive*

No matter who it is or what was done forgive them, forgive it. Remember forgiveness is always for you and not for the person or act you are forgiving.

*Let Go*

After you have forgiven just let it go! You will feel free of the tension and heaviness that comes with holding on to a wrongdoing or negativity.

*Trust God*

Trusting people is so hard! So therefore put all of your trust in God! He will guard your heart so you don’t have to. Trust that He will bring the right people and opportunities into your life!

*Walk In Love*

In everything you do, do it with the intention of Love! You can’t control what others do or say but you always have control over yourself, your response, your intentions and your actions. Love is a choice and an action not just a feeling!

So now when wondering where I’d rather be I am just filled with thankfulness! I am thankful that I am not my past, I am not those past hurts and wrong-doings. I am the woman God created me to be! I will not allow past experiences to take a seat in my present life or cause me to make future decisions because of what happened to me back in the day! I will continue to allow my past to be just what it was, an old experience, a memory, a lesson. It is not my future, it is not me! My past or any situation, any person or anything cannot and will not stop me from receiving all God has for me!

Be encouraged today that you are not your past! Your future is brighter than ever and God’s Love flows through you! Therefore you have everything you need to live your best life and to conquer every obstacle! That molehill may seem like a mountain but God has already worked it out for you! I’d rather be living my best life, how about you?

Happy Friday! ❤️

Negativity Acceptance Vs. Positivity Rejection

Why is it acceptable and pretty much normal for people to be negative? Why is being positive out of the norm? When I begin to try and answer these questions I automatically think of what is out there. The negative examples on television, social media, and within people’s lives. Although, this is where I would say I see the most negativity there are also many people on the same platforms that promote positivity. I have noticed from my experiences negativity gets the most attention. I always wondered why that is? Is it because negativity is what people like? Is it because negativity is entertaining? Is it because most people are not satisfied with their own lives that they crave negativity? Many questions enter into my mind when I think of negativity vs. positivity.

It seems as if positivity is not normal, positivity is normally not the first response. Most people first weigh the options of a situation, analyze it, critique it and then maybe they may come up with a positive outcome. But why the process just to be positive or to have a positive response? Why isn’t it automatic? Is being supportive and happy for someone else only caused by first analyzing where you are in life? Can you naturally just be happy for someone else being in a positive space even if you are not? All these questions has my wheels turning, my mind thinking and my fingers typing. Let’s see if I can get to the bottom of this.

We all were younger at one time or another, going about life recklessly, making bad decisions and not thinking before doing. Naturally life experiences teaches us what not to do again so that we hopefully learn, mature and grow. But too often I find that people of  mostly mature ages Dibble and Dabble in negativity and what it brings. Negativity mostly stems from a negative mind frame, the way that we shape our thinking. The way you think  is the way you see the world. If you have a negative mind frame then negative things will manifest in your life. If you have a positive mind frame, positive things will begin to show up in your life.

One of the main things that I have experienced after rededicating my life to God is that first my thinking had to change. I used to think the whole world was against me, that everyone was out to get me and that bad things always seemed to happen to me. And because I thought  this way that is exactly what happened, I was unaware at the time my thinking brought forth negative manifestations/situations and caused me to respond in a negative way. After picking a couple of people’s brains I learned the reasons why negativity seems to be the first response is because of unawareness, immaturity and the lack of positive examples. Sometimes we as people have to see it to believe it. Me personally, I live my life by faith so I believe for things before I see them happen. But many people need to see it for themselves in order to believe positivity will bring forth positive manifestations.

Even though we live in a ever-changing world some people choose year after year to be the same. They never make any changes and continue to do the same things they have been doing expecting different results (which is the definition of insanity), then they question why their life is the way it is. In order to bring change in our own lives we have to change our thinking and our decision making.

Doing something just because everyone else is doing it is not always the best way to go. I personally love to do what everyone else isn’t doing. I like to stand out, be the unique person that God has made me to be and choose to live my best life. I also do not care what other people think of me, I know what God says about me and that is final. I do not require validation from others. I feel this way because of the boldness and confidence that God has instilled in me. I know who I am in Him and what my purpose in life is. I know because I trust God and have rededicated my life to him that I possess all the tools necessary to control my response to negativity. Shunning negativity does not start with judging others it starts with me! Choosing to make the right decisions, having the right thinking and choosing to not allow any obstacles in my path to knock me off the course God has created just for me.

The next time you are faced with negativity Choose to be positive! Choose to respond in a positive way or to not respond at all! Choose to be who God created you to be! Choose to live in your purpose! Choose to live your best life! Choose to be unapologetically you! Practicing Positivity will manifest a Positive life!

Happy Friday! ❤️

A Firm Foundation!

When you think of a foundation you normally think the beginning, a place to start from or a place to build from. In every area of life your foundation is what grounds you, a  reminder of where you first came from, how far you’ve come and where you are going. Foundation is important because when things change, are removed and are shaken in your life it’s the foundation in which you will have to come back to and stand.

No matter what we go through in life it is important to always remember where you began and to focus in on where you’re going. Personally this always helps me to be encouraged and to never give up. When I think of the progression that has occurred in my life it reminds me to continue to be thankful and to remember I have more to do to fulfill my God-given life’s purpose. I would not be able to do anything that I have done if I did not have a structure in which I’ve built from.

For some people Foundation can mean family friends or inspiration that constantly reminds them of the road ahead. Your foundation should be something that can continue to keep you focused on the Journey God has created for your life. As long as you have something to keep you steady when life is changing, something that pushes you to keep going and something that inspires you to live your best life nothing and no one can stop what God has planned for you.

When the tough times in life arise as they sometimes do just remember the foundation from which you came from, which you built upon, the life that you have committed to live and the lives that will be changed because of your choice to live out your life’s purpose. We were all put here for a reason, a very special purpose to use our God-given gifts and talents  to show others His love and marvelous works through us. Your life will be an example to others of what God is really about and how he works, which is through people. The only way to make it through this journey that was made just for you is by standing strong on your foundation. When you do you will be living out your dreams and life’s purpose doing what God has made you to do and receiving all He has for you!

Happy Sunday! 🙂

God’s Love Is Everything!

The way God Loves is very different from how we as humans love. God’s Love doesn’t come with stipulations or conditions. God’s Love goes on forever and never gives up. God’s Love waits patiently on us to come to Him and live the life He has designed just for us. God’s Love doesn’t judge our personalities and characteristics. God’s Love is the best kind of Love that anyone can receive. God’s Love is the only Love of it’s kind, the original and true meaning of what Love truly is.

When you think of all the goals you have in life I guarantee for most people finding true Love is on that list. Love is what we feel can make us complete, fill the void in our lives and bring our lives full circle. If you have everything but you don’t have Love then you ultimately have nothing. Have you ever wondered why Love is considered having everything? Why is it that our lives always feels as if something is missing if we don’t have Love? Often times we go about searching for Love in all the wrong ways. We hope that one day we will meet the one person in this world who understands us, completes our sentences and can see us for who we are. We look for this Love from another human, a man or a woman. That one person who will give us the Love we see in romantic movies, the person who will make us feel like a Disney Princess or Prince. This Love does exist but not in the way we imagine. For any human to be able to give this kind of Love they must first experience the Love of God!

God has personally shown me what Love truly is, I mean come on He created it. When I once upon a time struggled with feeling unloved by people God showed me that what others had shown me was not true Love. Only God’s Love can do all the things we think Love is. God may not like something I do but He never takes His love away! He is always there for me when I need Him, He answers my prayers and my questions, He provides what I need and want! God’s Love is truly everything! When God says “All we need is in Him” it is so true! Even if I am not feeling myself I can go to God and He reminds of who I am! My identity comes from Him! I know that if I had not experienced God’s Love I would not be able to truly Love someone else. Because Of the Love God has shown me, every void has been filled, every area of my life has lined up with what He has promised. God’s Love Is Everything!

Not only did God show me what Love is but He also fine tuned me so that my heart is pure and open. This is the only way to receive God’s Love and everything that comes with it. This is also the only way to be able to give true Love to others! You cannot say you truly Love someone else until you have experienced Love yourself! If you haven’t already received God’s Love just go to Him sincerely and He will give it to you! You do not have to be perfect, or earn it, He already Loves you, you just have to receive it!

Happy Friday! 🙂

New Place, New Level: Everybody Can’t Come

When God increases you and brings you to a New Place it is very common to experience changes in every area of your life. As humans we naturally see change as scary or something unfamiliar but in fact the changes that God brings are the best changes for our lives and propels us further into fulfilling our life’s purpose.

I’ve had this very conversation with one of my cousins and she so profoundly said sometimes we pass up others that may have had a part in our lives. These people may have been titled as “friends” or someone you may consider close to you. You may realize as you move forward with God these relationships begin to change or become stale. My cousin also said “I don’t feel any kind of way about those whom I’ve left behind.” When she said that it got me to thinking specifically about my journey and how God told me once I surrendered my entire life to His plan that everybody can’t come!

When God increases you He gives you everything you need to prepare you for your New Place! Some relationships are temporary and may not be meant to extend to where you are going. It’s okay to move forward and allow those relationships that seem to all of a sudden dwindle out stay out. Sometimes this is hard for me for I’ve had very many people call me “friend” but not many be a true friend to me. So I’ll still check in every now and then with “friends” and try to plan a time to spend time with them, but I’ve finally realized Everybody Can’t Come!

God will supply all Divine Connections! I should not try to keep up relationships that were only meant for seasonal purposes, I’m on my journey and living out my purpose, those that are supposed to be in my life will be! I trust God with every area of my life and I will trust Him to bring forth the Divine Relationships that are meant. Those that are not, well I’m in a New Place and I don’t feel any kind of way about it!

Be conscious of who you decide to spend your time with. Ask yourself is this person living out their purpose? Am I trying to hold on to a relationship that is naturally dwindling away? Know that God knows best and when you allow Him to lead you. He will only lead you down the best path that contains the Divine Connections you need!

Now you can step into your New Place with confidence! Be bold and continue to live the life God has purposed you to live!

Happy Hump Day!  🙂

The Favor Of God Taking You To New Places!

There is absolutely nothing like the Favor Of God! God’s Favor in our lives allows us to surpass and exceed our life’s goals and fulfill our life’s purpose! When things align in your life to meet exactly what God’s word says know that it is the Favor Of God! The awesome thing about God is He freely gives us what we need to live our best lives. Not only does He provide us with the tools to master this life but also He gives us what we desire!

When in a partnership with God we should take nothing for granted, not a delay, trial, tribulation or event. Although God does not cause us grief, hurt or pain when events that cause negative feelings arise He has the solution to every problem! God loves us so much that He chases after us! That’s right! God wants you to live for Him and wants to help you to live your best life! Its not because of how good of a person you may be or because the universe is in your favor it is because of God’s love that He extends His supernatural Favor into every area of our lives!

Before I rededicated my life to God I used to think that everything bad or negative happened to me. I constantly would ask God “Why?” I often wondered how life could almost never be in my Favor and what did I do that horrible things always seemed to come my way. I often reflected on the good I had done, how nice I had been to others, how I had helped out friends and family but only received hurt, pain and anguish in return. I obviously had the wrong type of thinking back then, I thought my life should have given me good results because of how good of a person I was but little did I know it did not work that way!

It was only when I began to take my relationship with God seriously, made the choice to receive His love and  yield to His ways that I begin to understand what life was really about. I was on my own plan therefore I was lost but with God He showed me exactly what to do, where to go and had given me His Favor and grace to do all He planned for me! Sometimes we don’t understand things, we have questions and get lost in our own plans but God is right there all along watching and waiting for us to come to Him! Some places in life we will not be able to reach without God’s Favor! The way God does things is in an excellent order that we could only try to imagine. When God thinks of what He has planned for us and our lives it is on a larger scale, for a greater purpose and carries a greater meaning! God’s thinking is bigger than ours! He knows ALL!

God is Limitless and when we trust Him to help us live our best lives we are Limitless!! Isn’t that awesome!?! I know for a fact there were some decisions I couldn’t have made without God’s help, places in my career and personal life that I would not have been able to do on my own. But God’s Favor is on my life! Everything I set my hands to do prospers! Every desire of my heart God is fulfilling! I mean He is the best partner to have! I hold my relationship with God to the highest regard and continue to keep Him first in my life! I know without His Favor I would not be where I am today!

Everything begins and ends with God! I must say His word is true and everything I need and desire is in Him! Because of God’s Favor I am a confident woman, living her dreams! Literally, my dreams are coming true right in front of my eyes! I am amazed at how God has presented opportunities to me, allowed me get to places that exceed my education and experience all while making divine connections with others! I know His Favor has protected me, helped me, saved me and led me to be living the Divine Life! Literally Faith To Divine Life! Do not underestimate what God has created you to do! His Favor will get you to places you did not even know you were supposed to be! Trust Him!

Like I always say if you don’t believe me, then try Him for yourself! I guarantee you will be amazed!

Happy Thursday! 🙂

XOXO,

JB
