Go With The Flow, Depending On God For Everything!!!

It’s human nature to want to do things ourselves, make our own choices, never ask for help but to first try and make things happen all on our own. Even as a child begins to explore on their own they often tell their parents “I got it” or “I’m going to do it myself.” It’s natural to feel if you don’t do it yourself it won’t be done in the right way, or the way in which you want it to be done. But God is here for us, alongside us, teaching us, leading and guiding us to an adventure that He has planned specifically for our lives.

I must say it is never easy asking for help or thinking that I cannot do things on my own. It took an event in my life for me to realize that life isn’t easy and I needed help in order to live my best life. As I came to this point I turned to God admitting that I was lost and needed help. I was also willing to stop doing things my own way and open to learning how to live my life the way God has planned it. He immediately begin to reveal His plan for my life, slowly but surely. This plan required me to always depend on God, to trust Him to lead me to making the right choices, allowing the Divine relationships into my life and to steer clear of relationships/friendships that were not meant for me. It required work on my part but this time when I accepted God’s way and abandoned my own I would never be alone.

Little did I know once I made the decision to accept God’s plan a continuous need for God would grow. I went from calling on God in only hard times to needing Him everyday, in every decision and in every area of my life. The more I depended on God the more He taught me. I learned to trust Him always, come to Him first not as a last resort and keep Him at the head of my life. God has increased me in amazing ways that cannot be explained. He has held a firm grip on me not letting me fall when life gets hard and making lemonade out of very sour lemons. I have learned how to be happy 99 percent of the time and when weapons form that 1 percent of the time to have faith they won’t prosper. I don’t sweat the small stuff and I am open to instant changes because life is always changing. I continue to accept God’s plan for my life over and over again! I say that because we ask God for things all the time but when He gives them to us in a way that we didn’t think could have happened sometimes we can overlook the blessing just because it didn’t happen the way we may have thought it would.

When we accept God’s plan and depend on him, solely on Him for all things we allow Him to bless us in the best way possible or impossible. The way God does things in and throughout our lives we don’t have the capacity to think that up! We can’t even imagine it! God is so big and so loving! He has our best interest, He protects us, He looks out for us, He is loyal to us and most of all He loves us more than any human can!

If you are having a hard time figuring this thing called Life out just hook up with God. He is the best friend and family you could ever have! He knows all and He is all the help you need! His word says “Everything We Need Is In Him.” With God you can’t lose, you may get down but He won’t let you fall and your life will never be boring! But filled up with the great adventure God has created just for you!

Try Him Y’all! He Will Teach You How To Go With The Flow Of Life! Increasing You Every Step Of The Way!

Happy Sunday! ❤️

A Firm Foundation!

When you think of a foundation you normally think the beginning, a place to start from or a place to build from. In every area of life your foundation is what grounds you, a  reminder of where you first came from, how far you’ve come and where you are going. Foundation is important because when things change, are removed and are shaken in your life it’s the foundation in which you will have to come back to and stand.

No matter what we go through in life it is important to always remember where you began and to focus in on where you’re going. Personally this always helps me to be encouraged and to never give up. When I think of the progression that has occurred in my life it reminds me to continue to be thankful and to remember I have more to do to fulfill my God-given life’s purpose. I would not be able to do anything that I have done if I did not have a structure in which I’ve built from.

For some people Foundation can mean family friends or inspiration that constantly reminds them of the road ahead. Your foundation should be something that can continue to keep you focused on the Journey God has created for your life. As long as you have something to keep you steady when life is changing, something that pushes you to keep going and something that inspires you to live your best life nothing and no one can stop what God has planned for you.

When the tough times in life arise as they sometimes do just remember the foundation from which you came from, which you built upon, the life that you have committed to live and the lives that will be changed because of your choice to live out your life’s purpose. We were all put here for a reason, a very special purpose to use our God-given gifts and talents  to show others His love and marvelous works through us. Your life will be an example to others of what God is really about and how he works, which is through people. The only way to make it through this journey that was made just for you is by standing strong on your foundation. When you do you will be living out your dreams and life’s purpose doing what God has made you to do and receiving all He has for you!

Happy Sunday! 🙂

Choosing To Be Constantly Thankful!

Every situation brings different feelings, when hardship strikes we often have thoughts of what it is we may feel that we need or want but don’t have. We can often fill our minds with thoughts of what our future will be like if our situation doesn’t change. We become consumed with life’s pressures of being successful and having more money than we could dream of. But having to worry about money and what it can buy us can cause us to be ungrateful and unthankful. Then we may find ourselves mumbling and complaining about what we wish we had instead of being Thankful for what we do have, the place we presently are and what God has promised for our future.

Geez Louise Life can be hard, things don’t go as planned, obstacles thrown in our way and the constant chase to be the world’s definition of successful. I’m hear to tell you I agree! Life is hard! Nothing worth having is easy! Know that God has a purpose and plan designed just for you. In order to achieve this, a partnership with Him is necessary! After you have hooked up with God, we expect for God to pour on the blessings in the form of money as soon as possible. Well, sorry to be the hammer that comes down on your head as I speak the truth, God’s promises does not automatically come to pass. I know, shocking right! God requires us to do our part, to stand on His word, Trust Him and pursue the ideas, gifts and talents He has placed within us! So what I am saying here is you have to do some work to get what God has promised you! I know another shocker!

Because we are required to work and do our parts we may experience periods of delay and difficult times. The awesome thing is that God is always there helping us and guiding us to what He has for us! When these times that you have not planned or deemed to be stupid or frustrating comes along, continue to be Thankful! All God has done for you up until this point was not for nothing! And pay attention, God may be teaching you something, revealing things, skills and people that will be important to your next level! God may be increasing you!

Don’t ever take for granted a situation the devil meant to be a tragedy turning around to increase your life! God does His best miracles out of tragic situations! Having an attitude of Thankfulness along with a Thankful heart will cause God to get to you what He promised much more quickly than when you are focusing on what you don’t have! In case you are a person who has been complaining more than being Thankful here are a few tips to get you started to achieving a Thankful heart and attitude.

Reasons To Be Thankful:

  • You woke up today!
  • You have the ability to do the work God requires!
  • You have the ability to speak things into your life as if you’ve already got them!
  • You can open your mouth and say Thank You God!

There you go! Make being Thankful a lifestyle! No matter where you are in life, I bet it is better than you were before! You have to Thank God for that! Working with God as your partner in life, every need will be met, you can make your dreams your reality and everything in your life is always subject to change! And when God thinks of change it includes increase and all He has promised you! Take God’s promises personally! He will always do what He said He would! He is doing great things for me and He will do them for you! Show God you can handle the best life He has planned! Be a good steward by always being Thankful!

Happy Sunday! ❤️

Well Worth The Wait!

Have you ever dreamed of the day when every area of your life is in order? When everything falls into perfect alignment at the perfect time and you are finally where you want to be in life? The day when you are living out your dreams and life purpose!?! Well, I can definitely attest to that. I have had many visions of myself being successful, living out my dreams and being in a place of total happiness and I am finally here!  It was not easy getting to this place, along the way I have had trials, difficult times and opposition but with God I have overcame those struggles and He continues to increase my life to levels I have only thought about.

As we know “Life” is not easy, it comes with many moments, special moments, frustrating moments as well as experiences that teach us how to make better choices and help us to gain wisdom. Anything worth doing in life requires faith and some sort of unknown risk. Taking this risk does not guarantee a great outcome but with God as a partner He promises if we are to trust Him He will give us the best life! God has and is doing all that He promised to do! My life is not perfect but it is pretty great and this is all due to my partnership with God. My success did not come overnight, there were some things I needed to learn, people I needed to let go of and places I needed to go. As God led me to and through these life experiences He has provided all I needed to get me where I am today!

I had to be patient, be bold, be confident in knowing who God says that I am! That is my identity, it comes from Him! Once you know who you are and your life’s purpose you are definitely on the right track! Do not let people’s opinions lead you somewhere you are not supposed to be. Allow God to be your guide, to give you the patience that is needed to reach your goals and live the life you have always dreamed of! Let’s not forget this requires some work on your part as well. If you do all you can do God will work that much harder on your behalf! If you haven’t already, take the steps to live your best life with God! He is waiting on you! If you are already in partnership with God I encourage you to continue on that path and to never give up because sometimes it can feel like it is over. At times it has looked like it was over for me but that is when God showed up, showed out and did His best work!

As a result my life is fulfilled! God has provided everything that I need and filled every void! I am lacking in nothing! I will continue on this path, the journey to Divine Life! I am living it and you can too! Although God has promised us so many things I made a personal promise to Him. No matter how successful I become I will always keep God at the forefront of my life! As I keep God first I will have an attitude of thankfulness! Now that’s a MAJOR KEY! Stay focused on your journey, do not allow worldly issues and negativity to affect your life or cause you to get off the path! God is with you and He lives in you! Because of this you can live the life He has designed just for you!

Happy Sunday! 🙂

Always Trusting, Never Forgetting!

Every once in a while I am reminded that Trusting God has gotten me where I am today and will continue to get me through this wonderful blessing called life. Life can be hard, difficult, frustrating and sometimes overwhelming. In these hard moments I have to take a step back and remember how I’ve gotten this far. Doing this helps me to ask God for peace and strength when I feel I can’t take it anymore, so I can move forward instead of being stuck in a difficult place.  When I think back on my life thus far I know that without God’s help I wouldn’t be where I am and I try to never forget that.

These past few weeks with transitioning from 2016 to 2017 and also transitioning places in my career all while I had vacation plans has literally been non stop. From getting things together to making sure other people are doing their jobs that may have effected an area in my life, trying to do my best to make sure everything  goes smoothly. But of course everything did not go as smooth as I would have wanted it. I normally (unless I am under a lot of pressure) do not let small things bother me or disrupt my plans. So one thing happens and my reaction is that it is okay, instead I can do this. Another thing happens and I am still cool and calm, but about time the 6th or 7th thing goes wrong I am knocking on frustrations door!

I have to remember that some things are completely out of my control and that is where God steps in. I do not have to apologize to God for being  frustrated because He understands and hears my cry, but I do have to Trust that He has a solution for every problem. Once I am reminded to constantly depend on and Trust in God to help me, I am able to be at complete peace and worry free. Trusting God completely means not going over the what if’s in my mind, or torturing myself about what I could have done better. I made a decision to give all my worries to God and know in my heart He will provide all that I need. A solution for every problem!

In conclusion, although we have hectic times in our lives, a lot to do and things we worry about, just remember God’s got you! He has your Front, Back & Sides! He has you covered! All that you need, desire and hope for God is there! How God is there for you cannot be compared to your parents or even a best friend, He shows up and out for you just because He loves you in a way no human can ever love you! God is love! And He is always accessible to you at anytime for anything! No matter what life hands you always remember that!

Happy Sunday! 🙂
