Go With The Flow, Depending On God For Everything!!!

It’s human nature to want to do things ourselves, make our own choices, never ask for help but to first try and make things happen all on our own. Even as a child begins to explore on their own they often tell their parents “I got it” or “I’m going to do it myself.” It’s natural to feel if you don’t do it yourself it won’t be done in the right way, or the way in which you want it to be done. But God is here for us, alongside us, teaching us, leading and guiding us to an adventure that He has planned specifically for our lives.

I must say it is never easy asking for help or thinking that I cannot do things on my own. It took an event in my life for me to realize that life isn’t easy and I needed help in order to live my best life. As I came to this point I turned to God admitting that I was lost and needed help. I was also willing to stop doing things my own way and open to learning how to live my life the way God has planned it. He immediately begin to reveal His plan for my life, slowly but surely. This plan required me to always depend on God, to trust Him to lead me to making the right choices, allowing the Divine relationships into my life and to steer clear of relationships/friendships that were not meant for me. It required work on my part but this time when I accepted God’s way and abandoned my own I would never be alone.

Little did I know once I made the decision to accept God’s plan a continuous need for God would grow. I went from calling on God in only hard times to needing Him everyday, in every decision and in every area of my life. The more I depended on God the more He taught me. I learned to trust Him always, come to Him first not as a last resort and keep Him at the head of my life. God has increased me in amazing ways that cannot be explained. He has held a firm grip on me not letting me fall when life gets hard and making lemonade out of very sour lemons. I have learned how to be happy 99 percent of the time and when weapons form that 1 percent of the time to have faith they won’t prosper. I don’t sweat the small stuff and I am open to instant changes because life is always changing. I continue to accept God’s plan for my life over and over again! I say that because we ask God for things all the time but when He gives them to us in a way that we didn’t think could have happened sometimes we can overlook the blessing just because it didn’t happen the way we may have thought it would.

When we accept God’s plan and depend on him, solely on Him for all things we allow Him to bless us in the best way possible or impossible. The way God does things in and throughout our lives we don’t have the capacity to think that up! We can’t even imagine it! God is so big and so loving! He has our best interest, He protects us, He looks out for us, He is loyal to us and most of all He loves us more than any human can!

If you are having a hard time figuring this thing called Life out just hook up with God. He is the best friend and family you could ever have! He knows all and He is all the help you need! His word says “Everything We Need Is In Him.” With God you can’t lose, you may get down but He won’t let you fall and your life will never be boring! But filled up with the great adventure God has created just for you!

Try Him Y’all! He Will Teach You How To Go With The Flow Of Life! Increasing You Every Step Of The Way!

Happy Sunday! ❤️

I’d Rather Be….

Have you ever taken the time to let your mind wander, or set aside some time to just think? I often find myself allowing my mind to drift when I’m alone and it’s quiet I think of my future.

Sometimes I wonder if given a time machine what things I would go back and change? I think about things I would rather be doing, and if I did change some things would I be in the same place in life that I am now? Would I have done more, seen more and achieved more? When I ask myself these questions I know I’m not alone in wondering where I’d rather be.

On my life’s journey so far I have learned and observed we spend a lot of time wondering what could have been? Allowing our past experiences to take a seat in our present lives. In order to move forward and have the future God has planned for us, we must first move out of the past. Moving out of the past doesn’t mean you have to forget it. I definitely have had past experiences that have helped to shape me into the woman I am today. (And not to toot my own horn but I turned out pretty great). Remembering some of my past reaffirms how far I have come while not repeating my past mistakes. We shouldn’t let our past make present and future decisions in our lives.

Some ways to not allow your past to interfere with your present and future are as follows:

*Always Forgive*

No matter who it is or what was done forgive them, forgive it. Remember forgiveness is always for you and not for the person or act you are forgiving.

*Let Go*

After you have forgiven just let it go! You will feel free of the tension and heaviness that comes with holding on to a wrongdoing or negativity.

*Trust God*

Trusting people is so hard! So therefore put all of your trust in God! He will guard your heart so you don’t have to. Trust that He will bring the right people and opportunities into your life!

*Walk In Love*

In everything you do, do it with the intention of Love! You can’t control what others do or say but you always have control over yourself, your response, your intentions and your actions. Love is a choice and an action not just a feeling!

So now when wondering where I’d rather be I am just filled with thankfulness! I am thankful that I am not my past, I am not those past hurts and wrong-doings. I am the woman God created me to be! I will not allow past experiences to take a seat in my present life or cause me to make future decisions because of what happened to me back in the day! I will continue to allow my past to be just what it was, an old experience, a memory, a lesson. It is not my future, it is not me! My past or any situation, any person or anything cannot and will not stop me from receiving all God has for me!

Be encouraged today that you are not your past! Your future is brighter than ever and God’s Love flows through you! Therefore you have everything you need to live your best life and to conquer every obstacle! That molehill may seem like a mountain but God has already worked it out for you! I’d rather be living my best life, how about you?

Happy Friday! ❤️

Negativity Acceptance Vs. Positivity Rejection

Why is it acceptable and pretty much normal for people to be negative? Why is being positive out of the norm? When I begin to try and answer these questions I automatically think of what is out there. The negative examples on television, social media, and within people’s lives. Although, this is where I would say I see the most negativity there are also many people on the same platforms that promote positivity. I have noticed from my experiences negativity gets the most attention. I always wondered why that is? Is it because negativity is what people like? Is it because negativity is entertaining? Is it because most people are not satisfied with their own lives that they crave negativity? Many questions enter into my mind when I think of negativity vs. positivity.

It seems as if positivity is not normal, positivity is normally not the first response. Most people first weigh the options of a situation, analyze it, critique it and then maybe they may come up with a positive outcome. But why the process just to be positive or to have a positive response? Why isn’t it automatic? Is being supportive and happy for someone else only caused by first analyzing where you are in life? Can you naturally just be happy for someone else being in a positive space even if you are not? All these questions has my wheels turning, my mind thinking and my fingers typing. Let’s see if I can get to the bottom of this.

We all were younger at one time or another, going about life recklessly, making bad decisions and not thinking before doing. Naturally life experiences teaches us what not to do again so that we hopefully learn, mature and grow. But too often I find that people of  mostly mature ages Dibble and Dabble in negativity and what it brings. Negativity mostly stems from a negative mind frame, the way that we shape our thinking. The way you think  is the way you see the world. If you have a negative mind frame then negative things will manifest in your life. If you have a positive mind frame, positive things will begin to show up in your life.

One of the main things that I have experienced after rededicating my life to God is that first my thinking had to change. I used to think the whole world was against me, that everyone was out to get me and that bad things always seemed to happen to me. And because I thought  this way that is exactly what happened, I was unaware at the time my thinking brought forth negative manifestations/situations and caused me to respond in a negative way. After picking a couple of people’s brains I learned the reasons why negativity seems to be the first response is because of unawareness, immaturity and the lack of positive examples. Sometimes we as people have to see it to believe it. Me personally, I live my life by faith so I believe for things before I see them happen. But many people need to see it for themselves in order to believe positivity will bring forth positive manifestations.

Even though we live in a ever-changing world some people choose year after year to be the same. They never make any changes and continue to do the same things they have been doing expecting different results (which is the definition of insanity), then they question why their life is the way it is. In order to bring change in our own lives we have to change our thinking and our decision making.

Doing something just because everyone else is doing it is not always the best way to go. I personally love to do what everyone else isn’t doing. I like to stand out, be the unique person that God has made me to be and choose to live my best life. I also do not care what other people think of me, I know what God says about me and that is final. I do not require validation from others. I feel this way because of the boldness and confidence that God has instilled in me. I know who I am in Him and what my purpose in life is. I know because I trust God and have rededicated my life to him that I possess all the tools necessary to control my response to negativity. Shunning negativity does not start with judging others it starts with me! Choosing to make the right decisions, having the right thinking and choosing to not allow any obstacles in my path to knock me off the course God has created just for me.

The next time you are faced with negativity Choose to be positive! Choose to respond in a positive way or to not respond at all! Choose to be who God created you to be! Choose to live in your purpose! Choose to live your best life! Choose to be unapologetically you! Practicing Positivity will manifest a Positive life!

Happy Friday! ❤️

New Place, New Level: Everybody Can’t Come

When God increases you and brings you to a New Place it is very common to experience changes in every area of your life. As humans we naturally see change as scary or something unfamiliar but in fact the changes that God brings are the best changes for our lives and propels us further into fulfilling our life’s purpose.

I’ve had this very conversation with one of my cousins and she so profoundly said sometimes we pass up others that may have had a part in our lives. These people may have been titled as “friends” or someone you may consider close to you. You may realize as you move forward with God these relationships begin to change or become stale. My cousin also said “I don’t feel any kind of way about those whom I’ve left behind.” When she said that it got me to thinking specifically about my journey and how God told me once I surrendered my entire life to His plan that everybody can’t come!

When God increases you He gives you everything you need to prepare you for your New Place! Some relationships are temporary and may not be meant to extend to where you are going. It’s okay to move forward and allow those relationships that seem to all of a sudden dwindle out stay out. Sometimes this is hard for me for I’ve had very many people call me “friend” but not many be a true friend to me. So I’ll still check in every now and then with “friends” and try to plan a time to spend time with them, but I’ve finally realized Everybody Can’t Come!

God will supply all Divine Connections! I should not try to keep up relationships that were only meant for seasonal purposes, I’m on my journey and living out my purpose, those that are supposed to be in my life will be! I trust God with every area of my life and I will trust Him to bring forth the Divine Relationships that are meant. Those that are not, well I’m in a New Place and I don’t feel any kind of way about it!

Be conscious of who you decide to spend your time with. Ask yourself is this person living out their purpose? Am I trying to hold on to a relationship that is naturally dwindling away? Know that God knows best and when you allow Him to lead you. He will only lead you down the best path that contains the Divine Connections you need!

Now you can step into your New Place with confidence! Be bold and continue to live the life God has purposed you to live!

Happy Hump Day!  🙂

The Favor Of God Taking You To New Places!

There is absolutely nothing like the Favor Of God! God’s Favor in our lives allows us to surpass and exceed our life’s goals and fulfill our life’s purpose! When things align in your life to meet exactly what God’s word says know that it is the Favor Of God! The awesome thing about God is He freely gives us what we need to live our best lives. Not only does He provide us with the tools to master this life but also He gives us what we desire!

When in a partnership with God we should take nothing for granted, not a delay, trial, tribulation or event. Although God does not cause us grief, hurt or pain when events that cause negative feelings arise He has the solution to every problem! God loves us so much that He chases after us! That’s right! God wants you to live for Him and wants to help you to live your best life! Its not because of how good of a person you may be or because the universe is in your favor it is because of God’s love that He extends His supernatural Favor into every area of our lives!

Before I rededicated my life to God I used to think that everything bad or negative happened to me. I constantly would ask God “Why?” I often wondered how life could almost never be in my Favor and what did I do that horrible things always seemed to come my way. I often reflected on the good I had done, how nice I had been to others, how I had helped out friends and family but only received hurt, pain and anguish in return. I obviously had the wrong type of thinking back then, I thought my life should have given me good results because of how good of a person I was but little did I know it did not work that way!

It was only when I began to take my relationship with God seriously, made the choice to receive His love and  yield to His ways that I begin to understand what life was really about. I was on my own plan therefore I was lost but with God He showed me exactly what to do, where to go and had given me His Favor and grace to do all He planned for me! Sometimes we don’t understand things, we have questions and get lost in our own plans but God is right there all along watching and waiting for us to come to Him! Some places in life we will not be able to reach without God’s Favor! The way God does things is in an excellent order that we could only try to imagine. When God thinks of what He has planned for us and our lives it is on a larger scale, for a greater purpose and carries a greater meaning! God’s thinking is bigger than ours! He knows ALL!

God is Limitless and when we trust Him to help us live our best lives we are Limitless!! Isn’t that awesome!?! I know for a fact there were some decisions I couldn’t have made without God’s help, places in my career and personal life that I would not have been able to do on my own. But God’s Favor is on my life! Everything I set my hands to do prospers! Every desire of my heart God is fulfilling! I mean He is the best partner to have! I hold my relationship with God to the highest regard and continue to keep Him first in my life! I know without His Favor I would not be where I am today!

Everything begins and ends with God! I must say His word is true and everything I need and desire is in Him! Because of God’s Favor I am a confident woman, living her dreams! Literally, my dreams are coming true right in front of my eyes! I am amazed at how God has presented opportunities to me, allowed me get to places that exceed my education and experience all while making divine connections with others! I know His Favor has protected me, helped me, saved me and led me to be living the Divine Life! Literally Faith To Divine Life! Do not underestimate what God has created you to do! His Favor will get you to places you did not even know you were supposed to be! Trust Him!

Like I always say if you don’t believe me, then try Him for yourself! I guarantee you will be amazed!

Happy Thursday! 🙂

Don’t Panic, Step Back, Gain Clarity & Trust God!!!

In life it is inevitable that difficult and inconvenient situations will arise. Often times we may react instead of thinking things through, seeing the situation as a mountain instead of a molehill. When difficult times happen as they will don’t look so closely at the problem, for every problem God has a solution.

On this journey I have learned that reacting is not always the best choice, I can get angry, yell scream and throw an adult tantrum but the problem will still be there. When you have a problem you want it to go away as quickly as possible. You don’t want to prolong it or cause more problems and the only way to do that is first Don’t Panic! When we Panic our minds are clouded, when we are upset all we are thinking of is the problem that needs solving. Your mind is blocked off to coming up with solutions for the problem. This might sound simple but stay calm and give yourself time to process what you have been presented with.

Once you are cool, your difficult glasses are off and you now see the issue for exactly what it is. You won’t exaggerate or see the issue through a magnifying glass, you see and understand what is happening. Taking a Step Back in all situations is a good thing! Getting too excited about something great or that seems great at the moment may look different later. It works the same when difficulties arise. Stepping Back allows your mind to be clear after you realize the actual size of the issue.

After snapping back into reality and understanding the issue at hand now you can gain Clarity that will help you come up with solutions! Your mind is clear, your thinking is straight and now God can channel solutions for your problem through you! Things you couldn’t have thought of when you were upset will come to you. Lastly Trust God! You can trust that God has not thought of a problem that there is not a solution for! He knows all and provides us with all we need when we need it! He has instilled wisdom in you to handle any and all of life’s situations! Trust God that He will get you through any obstacle that tries to get in your way! The scripture that I love to say when things get difficult for me is “No weapon formed against me will prosper!” Meaning things will try to stop you from getting what God has for you but will not be successful in any and all attempts! So even when things seem unbearable Trust God! He Has Us!

I recently experienced this within my own journey. My cell phone decided to break, not because I dropped it or didn’t take care of it. In great condition it just stopped working, would not even turn on. No big deal right….well the bigger issue was I had a phone interview the next day! Go figure my phone breaks and now I can’t have the phone interview for the job I’ve been praying for! What!?! I did everything I explained to you today. Not only did I have a great interview (went to use the phone in my apartments office), I have a new phone and I have another interview tomorrow! I trusted God and although something so small but so inconvenient came up I have the victory! What God has planned is already a finished product! Nothing and No one can stop what God has for you!!!

Happy Hump Day! 🙂

A Prosperous Mindset!

The most important thing that we can control is our thinking. How we think can cause our lives to be the best, set trends, develop great ideas and turn our dreams into reality. The way in which we think should always be positive, forward thinking and dream pursuing. If we allow negativity and the opinions of others to shape our thoughts this can have a great impact on our lives now in the present and the future.

I choose to have a Prosperous Mindset! When people think about prosperity it usually means they are talking about money, but money is not the key to happiness or fulfillment. Yes, we need money to live a prosperous life but it is not the only attribute needed, prosperity is much more than that! In previous blogs I have written about life fulfillment, all the aspects needed to live a full life with no voids. When I think of being prosperous that is what I am thinking of! A life with no voids, fulfilled in every area of my life! Now that is Prosperity! In order for us to achieve living a life of prosperity we  must have a Prosperous Mindset!

As humans thoughts flow through our heads freely by the minute, but we can control what thoughts we dwell on and which ones we choose not to. Life can have it’s difficult moments, we can become angry or sad but even in those moments it is critical to try to think positively. I know from my own experience that no matter how much of a positive person you are foolish people who do foolish things will cross your path. It has happened to me more than you would think. But it is how we handle these situations that allow us to continue to think in a Prosperous way! For example some people may think a bad thought and say to themselves, “What Would Jesus Do?” It is always a good thing to question your bad thoughts. God made us with a conscious, He created us to know what the difference is between right and wrong. This is why if you make a mistake or do something wrong you instantly feel remorse. This is not something that has to be taught, He created us this way. God also created us with the freedom to choose for ourselves! The choice is always ours, so therefore we have the power to change and renew our thinking so that it positively affects our lives!

A saying that we have all heard “Sky Is The Limit” is not just a saying it is a Prosperous Mindset! Your thoughts are where dreams are created, ideas are made and choices are decided. God says we can have what we say and before we say things we definitely think them! So make it a point to pay attention to your thinking and if your mindset is anything other than positive or prosperous you should renew your thinking and watch how your life increases! We naturally attract what we think about! With a Prosperous Mindset your dreams will be your reality!

Happy Thursday! 🙂
