Living With Her Godly Wisdom!

10/27/2021

Living as we do each day, what are our minds filled with? How do we know right from wrong? How do we know the right opportunities to take and the right decisions to make? I think we were all born with a sense of what is right and what is not. We come from different backgrounds and cultures but I believe we always have that sense of the right thing to do.

When we choose not to do the right thing as adults it isn’t because of childhood trauma, emotional trauma or any other past event, it’s because we do not consult Godly Wisdom. In the bible Wisdom is called Her. Isn’t that interesting? She calls out to those who are naïve and inexperienced. She offers them gifts of food and wine in the hopes they will receive Godly Wisdom from her in order to get it into their hearts allowing Godly Wisdom to lead their lives. Wisdom brings understanding, insight and self discipline that leads to Godly Living. (Proverbs 8:5)

In the world we live in there are many “experts” that acquire their knowledge and skill from YouTube, Documentaries and the opinions of others. This includes self proclaimed prophets and ministers where money and attention drive their “calling”. We have to be sure not to confuse ourselves with words and/or teachings from those who are not authentic. In order to know the difference we must be connected with God and He will provide Godly Wisdom.

In my experience Godly Wisdom has helped me to learn from past mistakes and never make them again, be peaceful when I wanted to react in boiling anger, think twice before making a life altering decision, walk away from toxic people, stay professional when dealing with disrespectful colleagues, continue to shine my light when others are intimidated by its brightness and boldly and confidently live for God everyday when I could be joining the crowd of monkey see monkey do.

I truly believe God has a plan for each of us. No matter what stage of life we are in, there is always room to do the right thing, make good life decisions and trust God to lead and guide us with Her, Godly Wisdom!

Happy Wednesday!

With Love,

JB ❤️
