Spiritually Inspired!

12/01/2021

Have you ever felt a spiritual inspiration from others? Someone who is living their lives freely by faith and being wonderful examples during their time on earth. Today’s blog is dedicated to two special people that were major spiritual inspirations in my life and today is both of their birthdays. My Nanny Wanda Roberts and My Grandaddy William Blount.

My Nanny was a cool, super fly, strong woman. She treated me just like I was her very own. We had many special moments that I’ll never forget with her and my Godfather. The way she lived her life was truly by faith. She was diagnosed with MS which is a progressive disease but she never allowed the illness to stop her. She traveled with her children, my lovely cousins and still allowed God to lead and guide her. She showed me true unconditional motherly love. When she passed away I was heartbroken but very Inspired by her and the way she lived her life.

My Grandaddy was a hard worker, and Jack of all trades. He was funny and filled with wisdom. He never forgot to remind me about how important it is to have a relationship with God. I have so many great memories of him. He battled the illness of Prostate cancer. He was always brave and optimistic about beating the illness and at some point he did go into remission for a while. Unfortunately the cancer reappeared in other parts of his body and even then I never heard him complain. His approach was that a solution is possible and even when he didn’t feel his best he continued to show up and be there for me. He passed away one year after my Nanny and I was heartbroken all over again. But what kept me going is the Spiritual Inspiration I felt from the way he lived his life freely and by faith.

To honor both my Nanny and my Grandaddy I made a generous donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. These funds will be used in research in developing a cure for these diseases. I know they are partying in Heaven! I miss them so much!

It’s always good to pay attention to those that truly live their lives with God first. You just might become Spiritually Inspired!

Stay Encouraged!

Happy Wednesday!

With Love,

JB ❤️
