Being on God’s plan comes with God’s protection. God promises no matter what situations life may bring He will protect us from ALL evil. This is one of the many promises God makes to us when we dedicate our lives to live for Him.
No one person is perfect, we all make mistakes. We are sinners saved by grace. With that being said, it is a consistent choice of how we decide to live our lives. Who we surround ourselves with and what we choose to be involved in is all a part of the choices that make up our chosen lifestyle. There is a right choice and a wrong choice when we are faced with decisions to make. Consulting with God as well as thinking honestly about what is the right thing to do will lead you to the right decision.
In my life experiences I have come across some people who don’t do the right thing but expect everything great and wonderful to come to them. Do not be fooled by the ways of the world. When we gain a heart for God, nurture and grow a relationship with Him then we will inherit all His promises. This will not happen all at once or whenever we want it to happen. God is not a magician but He is the creator, the one who knows all and is higher than all. He knows what is best for us as well as the timing we should receive His many promises and blessings.
When we make wrong choices, consistently sin and/or surround ourselves with evil doers we step outside of God’s protection. It is true that God can do anything but He will never force us to choose Him. We have to make that choice on our own. Thank you Free Will! God loves us so much that He allows us to decide when and how we come to Him. Without God’s protection anything can happen to us and evil can reach us.
I don’t know about you but I never want to be without the protection of God. Not only is there too much going on in the world but my faith journey and relationship with God is too important for me to live a life of sin! Lord, I choose you now and will continue to choose you over and over again! If you agree, simply say “Lord, I choose you!” and align your lifestyle choices with God, include Him in everything and live your life for Him! I never said it was easy but my God is it worth it!
Psalm 26 ( Amplified Bible) states: "VINDICATE ME, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity. I have relied and trusted confidently in the Lord without wavering and I shall not slip. Examine me, O Lord, and try me; Test my heart and my mind. For Your loving kindness is before my eyes, And I have walked faithfully in Your truth. I do not sit with deceitful or unethical or worthless men, Nor seek companionship with pretenders (self-righteous hypocrites). I hate the company of evildoers, And I will not sit with the wicked. I will wash my hands in innocence, And I will go about Your altar, O Lord, That I proclaim with the voice of Thanksgiving And declare your wonders. O Lord, I love the habitation of Your house, And the place where Your glory dwells. Do not sweep my soul away with sinners, Nor sweep away my life with men of bloodshed, In whose hands is a wicked scheme, And those whose right hand is full of bribes. But as for me, I shall walk in my integrity; Redeem me and be merciful and gracious to me. My foot stands on a level place; In the congregations I will bless the Lord."
Happy Wednesday!
With Love,
